Due to the many variations obtainable in a basic type and size of clutch, spare parts lists are issued against specific serial numbers. Anytime you require information about your unit or place an order for parts from the factory or your distributor, please furnish the serial number of the unit which is located on the face of the airtube holding plate (see example photo). For general guidance, the normal recommended spares are listed below.

Friction Discs

Flat Non-Asbestos friction discs with teeth on the outer diameter, which mesh with teeth on the inside of the Clutch or Brake Hub. Available in several materials, diameters and thicknesses.

Air Tubes

Pressure Plates

Molded Plate with release springs/bolts. (4)spring inside mount is shown. Inside and outside mount and quantity of springs/bolts vary with assemble.

Center Plates

Flat metal discs with teeth cut on the inner diameter, these teeth mesh with the outside teeth of the hub.

Rotating Air Unions

Rotating Air Unions allow passage of pressurized fluids (pneumatic or hydraulic) from a stationary inlet to a rotating shaft end. (Rotating Air Unions also known in the industry as rotary swivels, rotary couplings, rotary joints, rotorseals)

Quick Exhaust Valves

Quick-exhaust valves (QEVs for short) are pneumatic in-line, three-way valves designed to automatically close upon pressurization and open to exhaust when a pressure drop occurs in the supply line. The valve provides an exhaust port close to the pressurized chamber of the device being controlled rather than exhausting through long supply lines and/or control components. The end result is a reduction in lag time between the signal to exhaust and response. Silencers are available to reduce exhaust noise.
